The Pain of a Boy.

Hi all

The following poem I wrote a long time ago. Since then it was hiding itself in my Diary placed at my bookshelf. So, today it got a chance to unveil itself. Here it is presented to you.

Sometimes I want to cry,
but keep my eyes dry,
coz I'm a boy.

I want to express my feelings,
but don't give them a try,
coz I'm a boy.

My heart may also feel pain,
but I tend to lie,
coz I'm a boy.

Yes, I've written all this,
but can't explain why,
coz I'm a boy.

Hope you liked it.
Thanks for stopping here.

The Time Zone

Past was future sometime ago.

Present will become past soon.

Future will never show its face,

it's out of time zone.

The Future Untold

Wandering on the path unknown
Fearless soul fearing from the future untold
Left with no choice but to move ahead
The beautiful time I had, to be left behind
So many ways there to lead
Smiling face frustrated heart
Why the world is moving so fast
Can’t keep pace with it
I’m changing my direction for heart sake
Am I doing right…?
Will I lead to light…?
Make it shine bright…?
Or will fall like a kite…?
Thoughts, thoughts all the way
However, what I’m thinking can’t say
Should go this or that way
Wait, wait, wait
May be I’m going too far
May be it’s just the fear unknown
Or just a nightmare
Whatever it is
It seems to be true
In future, what I will do
Wandering on the path unknown
Fearless soul fearing from the future untold

One More Second

Whatever I be

I don't want to be the best

I just want to be there

As long as I can

Till everyone else quit

I don't want to be the best

I just want to be there

One more second than all others

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad ...!!

Welcome

Today, the 23rd February, is the 26th wedding anniversary of my parents. Here is a short poem which is dedicated to them from me and my brother...

Years ago when you two met,
When God decided your fortune,
That you were made for each other,
Even you weren't sure of that,
Things happened and you became one,
Days passed in years,
Years passed in decades,
And today you still stand by each other,
Old relation yet new hopes,
Old times seem so close,
Loved and fought together,
Cried and laughed in unison,
A perfect couple you make,
A perfect gift God gave us,
Love you Mom & Dad.

The Sacred Secret..!!

Lend me thy ear
I’ve a secret to share
That I Love You
And it’s very much true
Don’t spread the words
Just keep them with you
I’ve a secret to share
Lend me thy ear

I Think....!!!

Hi Friends,

Following poem is to reflect my restless mind. It thinks a lot. I don't know why? May be it is its character or whatever. Don't think much and enjoy the thinking in these words....

I think about the people I meet,
What they say and how they greet.

I think about the work I do,
I put hours but don’t feel like into.

I think about the friends I treasure,
Their presence is something that can’t be measured.

I think about the sun that shines away,
How it melts the butter and hardens the clay.

I think about the dreams that turn true,
But don’t see them as they are meant for you.

I think about the thoughts I think,
Mostly I think that I think without a blink.

And before I hung up, I think I should continue,
Then the second thought comes to stop it and start a new.

The Open Ended Poem...!!

How Are You???

Last Saturday night I was finding hard to sleep. Don't know what the matter was. Wait....I wasn't thinking about anyone (and I mean it). It was around midnight when suddenly I thought that why not utilize this idle time. So I thought to write a poem (yeah, I was thinking of burning midnight oil to write a poem though I haven't done it before even to study in my CA exams). I had to go out of town on next morning and had to wake up early but when it comes to writing I can't resist myself. But where could I get a paper and pen at this hour. Then I thanked the person who invented the mobile phone. I switched on my cell and started typing the poem like an SMS. I hope my younger brother, who was sleeping on my right, was not noticing my madness. It was around 2 A.M. when I stopped it (I'm not using the words 'finished it' because it is an Open Ended Poem). Here it is for you. If you have any good finishing line then let me know.

You and me, hand in hand,
Walking together, on the wet sand.

The footsteps behind we leave,
Are witness of our love I believe.

When the sun gets ready to set in the west,
And the moon comes out full at its best.

When the water of the sea touches your feet,
I’ll open my arms to give you the heat.

This very moment I wish never last,
But soon you realize the limits you passed.

You push me away to get out of the lock,
I’m still trying to come out of the shock.

You run away giving a naughty smile,
I try to follow you till the next mile.

You keep eluding me like a butterfly,
And I keep wondering where the end of the sky.

In no time you go out of the sight,
I can’t see you even the moonlit is bright.

Please come back, I know you are teasing,
Still I’m worrying, you know I’m freezing.

Since the day you have gone,
I’m living but all alone.

No one is here to see my tears,
Of course I have my nears and dears.

But the place you are having in my mind and heart,
No one can replace even a little part.

So turn back and keep your words,
Don’t you know how much it hurts?

I won’t complete the poem until you’re here,
I want you to write the best rhyming pair…..

That's it for today. Will come back to bore you again. Till then take care of yourself because your life is not yours alone. Someone is there who needs you more than yourself.

I'm not being senti ok.

Bye, See you again.

I Too Had a Love Story...

Hello Dear

See how desperate you are to know about my love story. Some of you must be wondering that how Deepak could have a love story of his own. Well…Why can’t I? I am also a human being having all my body parts at their right places. But I think this is not the right time and the right place to open my cards. We will talk about it some other time.

So, because you have clicked here to read a love story, I will not disappoint you. I am gonna talk about the book “I Too Had a Love Story” written by Ravinder Singh (or popularly Ravin). I finished it on yesterday. Ya, on Valentine’s Day. And I guess it was not the perfect day to finish a love story. Rather it is a day to start new ones. Anyhow, I started reading it and glued to it till it got finished.

The book is about a guy (named Ravin) and gal (named Khushi) who meet on some matrimonial site living thousands of miles away from each other. But the miles between them were not the obstacles at all. Everything was going smooth when suddenly the gal met with an accident just two days before their engagement. The gal dies and the guy had all the pain. Here I want to write a shayri which suits the instance. One of my college friends wrote it and now I quote it ---

Mujhse pehle tu is duniya ko alvida kahe,
Dard-e-judayi ye mere hisse aye.
--- Jagdish (my friend)

You must be wondering that what is different in this tragic love story. But the story is penned so wonderfully that you start imagining the real love with a virtual guy/gal. And that is the most wonderful part of the book. One more thing is to note that the book is written in a very simple language that even the beginners will not find any problem understanding it. I won’t reveal much about the story so that you should read it on your own.

The writer Ravinder Singh is a software engineer by profession. Like Chetan Bhagat and Arpit Dugar, another engineer has tried his luck in writing. May be the engineers are out of jobs. Jokes apart but the book is worth reading. I would give it 10 on 10 (forgive me if I’m being biased).

And one more thing I want to say that my family is very irritated because of me. They say either you are busy with your computer or your books (so called though…hehehe). They keep on adding that I don’t have time for them. So I want to thank my family for sacrificing my presence while watching TV or gossiping. I love you all more than anything. My world is with you……

Bye friends.

Yaar Blog padhte rehte ho kabhi koi suggestion ya comment hi kar diya karo. hehehe

Take Care.

I'll Miss the GMCS...!!!

Dear friends

Do you know why the good times don't last long...??? Well...I know, everything which is in limit is good. If anything comes without any limit or boundary or ending will become boring and unbearable after some time. Last Saturday our 15 days long GMCS training came to an end. And what can I say, it was very memorable for me and all the other participants. Many of us will never meet in this life again. So I want to wish a very best of luck to all my mates who attended the training with me.

I want to dedicate following words to all my friends and faculty of the training program ---

The moments were very few,
and the faces were quite new.

Rising early to go out of town,
and in buses, no place to sit down.

The lectures were all mix,
some were boring, some were bliss.

The knowledge they threw, we tried to gather,
we laughed aloud, we learnt together.

The Malai Kofta, the Chili Cheese,
the food was good, all thanks to 'Lazeez'.

Going to the trip, made me think,
Why the good times, go in a blink?

The madness we showed at the Bombay Picnic Spot,
people were gazing but we enjoyed a lot.

The day came very fast,
what they call it last.

All were celebrating the conclusion,
but I was still in confusion.

Nothing much I got than the friendship so hard,
I wish I've made a place in your heart.

I hope the poem is not giving you stress,
so I conclude, I'll miss the GMCS.

Friends, all the best for your future endeavors.

Take care
