Soul's Call

I do not really do,
What they think I do,
I'm just a means,
But in fact it's You.
Through me You love,
Through me You write,
Through me it's done,
You remain out of sight.
I do not deserve,
Your gracious blessing,
I'm a sinful soul,
In torn dressing.
What more do I say,
What more do I write,
My soul lost itself,
When it found You beside.
O Merciful!
Listen to my soul's call,
Into the world so mean,
Do not let it again fall,
Do not let it again fall.

Who?

Who else can
know better,
the sufferings
of my own soul,
except me?
O Lord!

And,
if not me,
then You.
If not You,
then who?

Tiny Tales - II

He,"You're my weakness."

She,"But I want to become your strength."

He was quiet. Maybe he knew she was wrong. He still stands strong.

"Write a thought for me," she said.

He wrote his life for her and she never read it.

"Don't doubt my efforts. They are sincere," she said.

He trusted. He still trusts.

"I cannot hurt anyone," she assured.

Yes, she was right. She didn't hurt anyone except him.

"Your words are really your asset," she told him.

She left and his assets flourished.

"Move on," she said.


She turned around and he wasn't there. He moved on before she could do. She was still standing there with the guilt on her soul.

Tiny Tales - I

She said Amen! a numerous times.

Not a single one worked. Her prayers weren't strong.

He,"I always keep surprising you. But you never do."

She,"Someday I'll give you a big surprise."

And she did. She left, to never come back.

He asked,"In storms or in sunshine, will you be my valentine?"

And the answer was yes.

Then rang the alarm and he realized he was dreaming.

He,"Just want to say,
in simple old way,
in no time we became
one from two,
don't mind if I say,
I love you."

She,"I love you too."

She forgot to mention - conditions apply.

He,"I guess I don't deserve you."

She,"Don't say that. My soul knows only you deserve me."

She lied to him. Her soul lied to her.

She once told him that he was a gem.

Little did he know that he was just a stone for her.
A pebble under her feet.

A Poetic Tale

Bathing in the moonlit,
On an otherwise dark night,
Over the grass,
Under the stars,
He held her tight,
Surrendering herself,
In his protective arms,
She imagined their future,
Together as bright.
But wait!
A sudden thunder,
Woke them up,
From their fairy dream,
He made her feel his presence,
Before she could scream.
"What if it doesn't work?",
she whispered,"What if fate hurts?"
He didn't move, he didn't slip,
Around her, he tightened his grip.
And uttered,"We are already one.
What more is left to be done?
Everything will be alright,
Just wait for the morning sun."
For a moment, forgetting their pain,
They got lost in dreams yet again.
A story so innocent they write,
On an otherwise dark night,
Bathing in the moonlit.

Valentine

Nothing left to ask,
Nothing left to say.
Walking hand in hand,
We've chosen our way.

But heart so innocent,
Fears night and day.
Whether you'll be mine,
Or you'll never may.

So for the one last time,
Let me ask my heart out.
In storms or in sunshine,
Will you be my valentine?

Wish

In my heart I have, a wish so strong,
To be with you in this life, and beyond.
And if you leave me halfway insane,
I promise, I'll never write poetry again.

Our Story

It isn't an attraction,
Or a mere infatuation,
Between us is a sacred
And divine connection.
It's never too late,
The way we've met,
Was written in our fate,
That is how you and me,
Became each other's soul mate.
You've touched my life the way,
No one else could or can.
I feel so grateful to my Lord,
That now,
You're my lady, and,
I'm your man.

Random Love Verses

With each passing day,
Whatever comes our way,
I just want you to know,
What I feel but don't say.

Amidst all the words unsaid,
And all the feelings unread,
Yet I believe we're connected,
As two hearts in one thread.

Hold my hand and take me away,
To a place where no one is to sway,
Just you and me and a tree house,
Near a river where forever we stay.

For all these years I've been caged,
You touched my soul and I was amazed,
It's time we fly up above the sky,
Where we remain unfollowed and unchased.

Strange are the ways of Lord,
And sudden is His gracious rain pour,
He makes us fall for the one,
Whom we've never known before.

The Connection

Two strangers on an unknown path,

Walked together yet miles apart.

Never met, though, never seen,

In ups and down, united we've been.

Our story is no less than a fairy tale,

Storms will come, but our ship will sail.

The relation that we're tagged in,

is as sacred as heavenly dove.

I wish I could give it a name, which is,

More than friendship but less than love.

The Fall

Despite all the cautions my heart takes,
if, however, I fall in the ocean of love,
do not come to rescue,
do not extend your helping hand.
Let me take a plunge,
deep down the untraveled path,
do not pull me up to life again,
for the one who falls in love once,
rises above all the sins.
