Silence

Tears unrolled,
Pain untold,
She thinks no one cares,
If she doesn't share.
But I can read minds,
Maybe she's unaware.
As I pack my stuff,
She keeps herself tough.
But I know her inner state,
I wish I could stay, but,
The time wouldn't wait.
I still have to depart,
Though with a heavy heart.
The journey is self chosen,
Her silence leaves me frozen.
To ask her, I couldn't dare.
All I can say is that,
Some fairwells aren't fair.

P.S. - Dedicated to all the strong mothers out there whose children have to leave their home for study/work.

Opposites Attract

They thought they were opposites. She liked summers while he felt winters more comforting. She liked sunny days but to him, rains always made him dance though he was not at all good at dancing. She didn't like books but he had a personal library. Also, she wasn't a loner like him, among other things. They were quite opposites you know. And yet they felt the pull towards each other. Like they say, opposites attract, so was their story.

They met couple of times like two random flowers touch mid-air when the wind is blowing. They were like those two random flowers. But he couldn't bear the force of wind and fell on the ground while she blossomed even more.

She was the poetry and he was the poet. For some time, they both were complimentary to each other like a poem and the signature under it. She was known by him and he was by her. Then came the time when signature turned into initials and initials too lost their importance. Like it always happens, everyone remembered the poem and forgot the poet. She was still a poem but he became an anonymous poet. Gradually he lost the anonymous title too.

They thought they were opposites, so as a rule, they would attract. Of course they did, but not for long. They weren't opposites, they were quite similar. They were like same poles of two magnets. And whenever they tried to come close, they pushed each other in the opposite directions.

Favorites Forever

There are some of my favorite things. Like that restaurant where I have been to only once and it just became my favorite. I have a shirt which I wore only once and it is hanging in my closet since then. But it's my favorite of all the shirts I have. There is a book resting on my shelf, half read and the bookmark is still sandwiched between its pages. That book is my favorite though never completed. I have a collection of songs in my cellphone which I have listened to only once or some of them maybe twice. But that playlist I have named it 'Favorites'. It's been long since I have played it. But like other things, it's my favorite.

It may sound weird. But you know why I follow this practice? Why I don't visit my favorite restaurant often or why I never wore that shirt again? Why I haven't completely read my favorite book and among other things, why I don't play my 'Favorite' playlist more often? Because I want all these things to remain my favorites forever.

If, for instance, I listen to that song again and again, it won't sound as special as it does now. If I complete reading my favorite book it may become part of that stack of books which I once read but never touched again. Not even dusted them off. I just want my favorites to remain as such. And I always want to feel curious about them all the time.

Should I tell you one more thing? You are my favorite of favorites. But I don't come to see you often. And now you better know why?

Our Story

It isn't an attraction,
Or a mere infatuation,
Between us is a sacred
And divine connection.
It's never too late,
The way we've met,
Was written in our fate,
That is how you and me,
Became each other's soul mate.
You've touched my life the way,
No one else could or can.
I feel so grateful to my Lord,
That now,
You're my lady, and,
I'm your man.

Monday Morning

Today is Monday. I know you all know that. But Monday mornings are hated by most of us. And I'm no exception. But have you ever thought that why we hate Monday mornings? Is it because we aren't prepared to go to work/study after an enjoyable and restful Sunday? Or is there any other reason?

Well, as far as I observed this problem, those who hate Monday mornings don't like their work or study. For if they do, they would never complain why there is Monday on the calendar again. I'm not here to motivate those who are affected by this syndrome because as I said earlier, I'm also affected by it. It has been a few years now since I have been caught by the virus of Monday morning. It wouldn't be wrong if I call myself the Tom Sawyer of my family.

But I wasn't like that a few years ago. Actually I loved Monday mornings till I was a student. In my student life, I never complained about it. Whether it was school or college or my CA course. I enjoyed every bit of that phase. Maybe because I knew from the very beginning that the best part of ones life is his/her student days. Of course we have tensions and stress of studies but it is far better than stress of other situations of life. But then again it depends on person to person. If I enjoyed my student days that doesn't guarantee my children will do the same.

It doesn't mean that I don't love my work. I do, but not more than my student days. It is good that I'm being paid and have become an earning member of the family but lucky are the people who could make their hobbies their profession. For them, work is never the work. They play while they work, they earn while they enjoy. Now please don't try to judge me. I'm not being negative. It is just that for some people, the past is more beautiful than the present. Yesterday looks better today and today would look even better tomorrow. I can't help it. I'm one of those dreamers who constantly dream about the beautiful yesterday and in turn miss the wonderful today.

I'm always an optimistic and I do believe and hope that before I leave this world, I learn to enjoy the Monday mornings. After all, as they say, life is for living and not for complaining.

P.S. - The facts of the above post may not be and will certainly not be applicable to all. So please be generous and leave a comment/suggestion to help me (and other affected) overcome this syndrome.

A Comfortable Friend

"There was a time when we didn't even know each other, not even each other's name. And today we're so comfortable with each other that I just changed my underwear while you were facing the other side and you didn't even realize that", these were my friend's words a few days ago in our PG room.

I was shocked and surprised at the same time. I was laughing and abusing him that why he didn't ask me to leave the room so that he could change. And then next moment I realized that he was right. We were so comfortable just because we were friends. Friendship is such a wonderful thing that it makes two completely strange individuals completely known to each other. Friends know more about ourselves than our own family or even more than we know about us.

As I'm in a different city now, leaving him alone in that strange city, I'm actually missing those days. We were like a big support to each other in that alien city. Away from our homes, our families and everything, we were like much needed companions to each other.

Talking about friendship I can only say that those are lucky who have got a good friendship. Friends even less in number, if true, are the most precious gift of God. Like they say, we can't choose our family but we can surely choose our friends. But I somewhat differ on that aspect. You get good friends, like good family, if you're destined to.

And the best and surprising part is, you don't remember the time when your strangeness was transformed to friendship. You just can't recollect that moment.

P.S. - Please don't change your undergarments if your friend is in same room. It may unveil your hidden secrets because your friend may not always be looking at the other side. Or you may also lose your balance in a hurry :-)

Last Few Days

What will one do if he comes to know that he is left with only a few days of life in this beautiful world? How a girl would feel when her marriage is fixed and she knows that she is in her parents' home for a few days only? A student who is going to pass from disciplined life of school and entering the college life of full freedom?

Since some days I have been juggling with the thoughts of 'last few days'. A person who is going to die would surely try to enjoy fully the handful of moments he is left with. He won't bother about things like earning money or buying a new car or expanding his business. All he will do is find the happiness in those little things which once didn't interest him. He will become more concious about the things which he never noticed before. His senses will work more efficiently than ever before. He will more conciously notice the streets he is walking on, will listen to the birds chirping around him, will smell the roses with closed eyes, will dance as if no one is watching. He will try to spend as much time with his loved ones as he can. Why suddenly? Because he knows he won't take anything with him from this planet. We all know that. Ultimately whatever we have earned or gained will remain here in this world and our own body can't accompany us to the heaven (or hell, whatever!).

But why suddenly I'm talking about this topic today? Because me too experiencing my 'last few day'. No, no. Not on this earth but at the place I'm currently working. And suddenly and surprisingly I'm enjoying this new city which I'll be leaving in a few days. Now every Monday morning when I wake up to travel 240 kms, I don't curse myself. I now enjoy the journey, the last few ones.

So, is there any lesson we can learn from knowing our 'last few days'. If we take every day as our last, can we actually enjoy the living or will it make our life more tensed? Like a coin has two sides, this also has two consequences. Now it is upto you how you take it. I'm leaving this open. Share your views. Last few days - will you enjoy or curse?

Leaving The Nest

Hmmm... It feels good to be back. It always does. Whether it is a virtual home or real one. You must be thinking why I'm talking like this today. Because today I'm sitting at my home after a long working week in an another city. Another city? Another question, right? Oh sorry, I didn't tell that I'm posted in a different city now and its not possible for me to come back home every evening. So I have set aside Sundays for this purpose. And though I'm accessed to the Internet all the time, I can't write blog more often now. I can only read and I do. I don't comment on your blog but I do read it. Don't worry about that.

Today I'm gonna talk about leaving the nest. Yes, every bird in this world has to leave the comforts of nest one day. Otherwise it can't learn how to fly. Thats very obvious I guess. But humans too have to do the same. At least some of us, like me. Initially it feels really good to live without any kind of interference from the family. But the excitement of freedom doesn't last long. Because we're used to the comforts of our home, our nest. We're used to the caring feathers of our parents. But when we start living alone in a different city where we have to get up by the alarm, arrange our beds on our own, decide the clothes to wear, manage the meals etc. etc. etc. Suddenly the things seem to be tough. But then again, one day we're used to it. Used to everything we do constantly and consistently.

Another thing I've learnt from moving to a new place is loving your own place. Earlier when I used to roam about in my city, I'd find it so messy, full of traffic, unorganized and all. But now as I visit my home town once a week, I find it very calm and lovely. I like to see each and every part of the street where I walk and capture each and every thing in my memory. Love your place, there is nothing like home, not even heaven.

Now here are some things I miss while living at a new place-
- I miss my family of course (because alone you're nothing even if you're a king)
- I miss my friends (because hum hi hum hain to kya hum hain, tum hi tum ho to kya tum ho)
- I miss writing (because I don't find time and inspiration at a new place)
- I miss home food (because I really do)
- I miss my bike (because I don't have it at my new place)
- I miss my jeans (because I have to be formal at my work)
- I miss me, my old me (because I never thought I'll grow up one day and leave everything I love just for the sake of bread and butter)

That is all for now. I miss being here too often.

The Stubborn Kid

Last night was not ordinary. It wasn't extraordinary either. There happened something that wasn't happened before. I stepped into the shoes of my grandpa and he stepped into mine. Let me mention here that he is too old to realize that he was actually behaving like a little kid. As I said, he is too old, 91 years to be exact. He is more than 3.5 times elder than me. But last night he again turned 3.5 years old kid.

He is not well since some days. And he was so frustrated that he decided not to eat anything and end up his life like that. And let me tell you that he is a real stubborn. Once he has decided to do or not to do something then no one can change his mind easily. He is like Salman Khan of the movie 'Wanted' which says 'ek baar maine jo commitment kar di phir mein apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta'. We had to request him for almost an hour to eat something. But he was he. Then me and dad pulled him by his arm and made him sit on the bed. Everything was OK till now.

What caught my attention the most was that he was too weak to hold the spoon and eat. I mean he was never like that. He was more fit than other family members even in his 80s. I fed him. He was eating like a kid. Eating less and falling more. I was thinking how it all happened. There were days when he used to feed us like this and today it was all in reverse order. Me turning his grandpa and he turning a kid again.

After he was done with his meal, he said something which caught my attention even harder. He said 'tum jeet gaye'. And in his words I felt that though I have done something good for him but he was feeling like a lost warrior.

I don't scare of death but I scare of getting old.

A Letter to Me - On My Birthday

Whole day long I was in office. Sitting in same old cabin, surrounded by same old files and papers scattered everywhere, dealing with same old clients and doing the same old work I never thought of doing someday. But I think every Chartered Accountant has a life like this. I came home frustrated like any other day. Opened the door of my apartment and suddenly saw a letter lying on the floor in a beautiful blue envelop. It was a surprise to get a letter after really a long time, almost a life. I quickly opened it up and started reading for I had no clue who will write me a letter and why?

Dear Deepak,
Happy Birthday.

You must be surprised to see my letter. You must have forgotten me by now. So I thought of reminding you that I exist, still. You are turned 25 today. But let me tell you one thing, with all the years changed with your age, you too have changed a lot. You are not that Deepak that I know since last 25 years.

Remember, you used to be very fun loving and full of life. Hope was the word that I used to describe you then. Everyone wanted to be in your company. You were the encouragement everyone needed. Whenever someone was feeling low, you were the one showing the hope. You never did any extraordinary stuff but still you were not what they call ordinary. People look upon me to find some hope when they don't get anywhere else. But you never felt like seeking my opinion in any matter. Even I knew you can handle anything that comes your way. Since all the past years, I have been watching you very closely. You never needed me and perhaps you don't know that I do exist, and that too very close. Today, I felt that you need me. So I am here.

As I told that I feel you have changed now. What happened? Are you not satisfied with the kind of life you are living? You have got everything what a normal human being needs to lead a healthy life. But you don't seem like leading the one. You probably don't know the reason. But I know. There is not one but many. First, you don't live your present. You always try to relive the past again and again. Past was beautiful, I know. But it has gone, accept it. Also you are more concerned about the future which doesn't exist at all. The moment which is in your hands right now is all you can count on. Live it fully so that you can make a better future and cherish a beautiful past when it is gone.

Second, you always fear. I would not say that you are coward but you fear a lot. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear in every sphere of life. Remember, fear is the most dangerous illusion known to mankind. Fear, like future, has no legs to stand on. All men and women of this beautiful world are creative in some way or the other. But they create nothing more than the fear which kills all the creativeness, Alas! Why to fear? Whom to fear from? If you fear of the things not got, they won't be going with you to the grave. If you fear of not getting accepted, its not your loss, its theirs who reject you. There is only one option you can choose from - fear or live. Both can't go hand in hand. If you choose fear then you will not live, you will only breathe. Choice is always yours, mind you.

You lose hope very now and then. I wonder you are the same kid that I had known for entire life. Whenever you lose hope and can't find anyone to look upon, turn to the nature. It is a great energy booster. Have a walk on the unknown path, get yourself lost in the woods, get drenched in the rain, see the birds chirping and playing together, breathe the air at the mountains. There are many more things you can do to charge yourself. Hope is the only candle with which the life can be enlightened. Keep it lit always.

But when nothing helps, look inside, I am always there to help you discover your true self.

With Love,
Your Heart.

As I read the signature at the end of letter, I was numb. Suddenly my eyes were opened up and my body was shaking. I wasn't holding any paper in my hands. It was about to dawn and chirping of birds ensured that it was going to be a beautiful morning. I realized it was a dream, an eye opener though.

But I was feeling more lively and hopeful than before. I got out of the bed and went to the balcony. The morning was never that exciting. I wished myself 'Happy Birthday' and prepared to start a new way of living. The hope I lost was hiding itself deep in my own heart.

P.S. - Today your friend has turned 25. It is quite a life I guess. This is my first birthday on the Blogsville. Hoping to celebrate many more to come with you. The letter above is fictional and the situations too. But I think it can relate to many of us. If it relates to you as well, please share.

Tagged - Yet Another Time

My Blogger friend Zave, who blogs at here and here, have tagged me where I've to disclose 3 things in each of the sections mentioned in the tag. So, here goes my take on it.

3 places I would pack my travel bag for:
- Whole of India (I really want to see my land)
- Whole of the world (I've heard that it is worth seeing)
- Little bit of space walk too

3 on screen characters I love to watch:
- Aamir Khan in the movie '3 Idiots'
- Jerry in 'Tom & Jerry'
- Jack in the movie 'Titanic'

3 moods that describe me the best:
- Talkative (when I'm with friends)
- Quiet (when I'm low)
- Serious Boy (otherwise)

3 things I always think of doing on a weekend but never did:
- Studying (except for exams)
- Waking up early
- Not to sit before my computer

3 things from my childhood that I can't forget:
- Playing the marbles with other kids of the street
- Going to school (I loved it)
- Enjoying the life as it came

3 things I would never say no to:
- Going out with my friends
- Writing
- Believing in God

3 things I can't live without:
- Money (its not everything but its needed at every step)
- Hope
- Dreams

Now I'm to tag my friends, so here I go. I tag -
- Leo

Rules for the tag are:
- Tag as many friends as you want to
- Link their pages in your tag post
- Leave a comment that they are tagged
- Mention the friend who tagged you and link his/her blog

P.S. - The event I was talking about in my earlier posts has been postponed for some days. So now I can celebrate my birthday with no tensions on my mind or at least less tensions.

Fingers Crossed

It's been a long time since I've posted on my Blog. And if you're thinking that I'm back, sorry but I'm not yet. Today I'm not here to post any poem or story or haiku or something like that. Since many days, I'm not feeling like living the way I should. I need to pour it out to somebody but I think everyone is busy in his/her own life so I shouldn't disturb them. The only place I can be 'truly myself' is this little space of mine - My Blog. So, whether you're interesting in my life or not, here I'm speaking my heart out. Please bear with me.

Well, first I'd disclose today that why I'm not able to Blog these days - I'm tensed. Yes, I really am. In the first week of September there is something in line which can change my life and I want it to happen, otherwise I don't think I can go like this. The day is - 6th of September 2010 - just one day before I'll turn 25 i.e., 7th of September 2010. Now it is all up to my destiny whether it would be 'the best' or 'the worst' birthday of my life so far. Lets see what my birthday brings for me this time.

Sorry I can't tell what exactly is going to happen in some days. But whatever it is, it means a lot for me and my family (if you're thinking about my marriage then you would most certainly be disappointed). I think I should keep it under veil until the event actually happens. So, please wait for some more days.

I'm also not able to visit my fellow Bloggers' Blogs. I beg your pardon for this. I'm hoping to share some good news with you all (if it goes well). I'm keeping my fingers crossed though I always wonder how a crossed pair of fingers can bring you good luck. If anyone knows the secret or logic for that matter, please share with me.

Till then, keep Blogging.

Signing off for some more days.

Missing writing.

Thank You Friends

It is quite obvious that everyone in this world comes alone and starts the journey of life with no companion by his side. Then after some time he realizes that he has got many people who are concerned about him. They are called family. But then again he needs people who are of his age and can accompany him in the journey of life, in the times of joys and sorrows. And those special people are called FRIENDS.

We need friends at every stage of life. From infants to old age, all need friends. We surely do. We may fight with them but we want them to share our lunch box. We may be possessive but we need them to show our toys and play with them. We may be angry but we want them to come and tease us even more.

As a kid, we play with them all day. In school, we share our pencils and notebooks. In college, we share everything from our hostel room to towels to our love stories. In office, we may not share the same chair, but we surely share the best hours of the day. When we become old, we need them to go to morning walk with us, then sit on a bench under a tree and talk about our youth while taking first cup of tea of the day.

I mean, no doubt, there are many people who are connected to us by our blood cells but friends are those rare and special people with whom we don't share our DNA but share the most beautiful and memorable moments of our life. They are the ones with whom we can truly be ourselves. We may not share some things in our family but our friends know us more than even we do.

Today, on Friendship Day, I want to grab this opportunity to thank all my friends who are part of my life and make it more memorable and worth living. I want to 'THANK YOU' all for sharing precious moments of your life with me. Without you, I'm nothing more than a lost particle of dust. Real or virtual, doesn't make a difference. Friends are friends by whatever means they are connected.

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY

The Confusion

"You don't remember me now", she sent a text.

"I do. Its only that I don't talk much", he replied back.

"No, you don't. You will only do when I'll leave forever. Bye, goodnight", she sent final text of the day, frustrated.

That night she didn't sleep thinking what's wrong with him. But she really loves him.

That night he didn't sleep thinking whether it is necessary to show how much one misses the other. A confused lover, perhaps.

The Making Of Memories

Last weekend I was on a journey with two more idiots (my friends of course). The journey where we got an opportunity to make memories for lifetime, and we did succeed. The journey was unique in its own way because we never went so crazy like this before. I mean the idiotness of 3 Idiots was on peak. I miss it a lot and hope other two idiots would also be missing it. So, here I want to share some moments of the beautiful journey with my two other companions.

The Start Up Point

The bench on the local railway station where we
rested for a while and then left it alone after
creating the beautiful memories and capturing it.

The Carriage

The train which took us to our destination.
It was our second train and we caught it running in the rain
at about 04:15 a.m. in the morning and that too without ticket
because the arrival time of first train and departure
time of second train was almost same, so we didn't have
enough time to buy the tickets.

Yummy...

The Maggi and the tea. Let me tell you that
it was the best Maggi and tea we have ever
had in our lives. Sitting at a place where we could
see water fall from the mountains and having delicious
breakfast like this is all very rare and special.

We, the Three

The meeting of our feet. It shows that we
are always together wherever we go.

Three hands of 3 Idiots

When we hold someone's hand we are
making sure that we will never leave it nor we
will let go even if the other wants to go away.

The Beauty of Nature

We never knew that moon looks that beautiful
at 02:00 a.m. in the night. Listening to the songs
with friends wrapped in the same blanket in
the cold night of mountains at the late hour.
What more can you ask from life.

They held us

The chairs where we were sitting in the
cold mountains night wrapped in the blanket.

Our Lunch

We had lunch of Coke and chips and peanuts.
Unique in itself again.

Watery Memory

Our three pairs of feet in the cold water.
The water touched and left, after creating
a beautiful watery memory.

The Milestone

It was just a stone before we turned it into milestone
with our names engraved on it. Hope it remains the
same when we visit next time there.

It Did Rain Today

It did rain today, and it did heavily after a long time though only for a few minutes. But as long as it did, it gave me an opportunity to celebrate my melancholy, for there was no one who could be having an eye on me. All were celebrating the first raindrops of the season while I was busy with my own old flash backs.

With each thunder hitting my ears, I could remember all that was forgotten, as it worked as a reminder. One of these made me think about someone who is very scared from the horrible voice of clashing clouds but nothing could be done now on my part to keep her distract. I hope, by now she has learnt to manage it alone. Another one reminded me about the days when rain seemed to be beautiful than anything else. Gone are the days when getting wet in the rain was all exciting. Gone are the days when rain would bring new hope for life.

Now, every time a sadness hits the heart, wait for the rain arises. Today the wait was over. Rain drops were falling on my face. Lips converted into curves to show a smile and eyes went shut. Soon the cloudy water was mixed with salty water. They met as if they were waiting for long to meet like this. Soon it all went as planned. Melancholy was coming out in the form of tears yet no one had a clue about this. Heart was pouring through the eyes at it's best today. Nothing could stop the flow. But soon it did end, as the rain stopped. Lips were normal again, the pair of eyes slowly opened to see the change it wanted to see. Somehow, this heavy heart felt a little lighter. Hope was born again.

Today it did rain heavy from the heavens above and so it did from the heart.

Surprise

It was couple of days after 2003 Diwali that I bought a small journal to put my thoughts in words. I hid it behind my course books placed on a shelf in my room. Initially I was very excited to write daily in my journal, though only a few lines. Earlier I used to write in Hindi. I never told anybody about my love for writing and perhaps my family still doesn't know where my journal is hidden.

Then in January this year, I started writing on this blog. I received a very positive response from my family and friends and by this time many of my friends know about my secret love i.e. writing. As you all know, on this blog I only write in English and will continue in future too.

Now, I thought why not share with all of you the initial piece of my art work. I would be sharing my earlier Hindi writings on a new blog. This is named Meri Kalam Se...!.

So guys please show your love there as well and enjoy reading while Nostalgic Writes.

P.S. - Please let me know if you liked the surprise or not. The Ink Drop box awaits some drops down the line.

A Letter to Grandpa

Respected Grandpa,
Greetings.

It is 3rd April 2010. You remember, it's your 91st birthday today. I wish you a long life and want your blessings to shower on me and other family members. Today I got the opportunity to talk to you through this letter. I hope you will give it a look.

You told me that the day I was born, you felt the happiest grandpa on earth. I remember when I was a kid, you used to play with me. Whenever mom-dad tried to shout at me you came to rescue, whenever I got sick you were more worried than anyone else, whenever I got late for school because of my sleeping habit you used to pick me up in your arms and take a walk in the street to wake me. Going to your work place to lit the candles on Diwali night, celebrating the festivals traditionally in your guidance, getting the one rupee coin everyday before going to school and a ride on your cycle are some of the priceless gifts that I got from you. You love me more than your own son, that I know. Thanks for all the love.

As a grandson I think I have a right to say what is in my heart. Over the years I have noticed a change in you. A negative one I would say. In the past 9 decades you have learnt a life. But there are certain areas you still need to improve on. Sometimes your short temper and rigid behavior annoys me. I have tried many times to convince you to change your attitude but now I quit. I think I've tried and you have won. But, that's fair. Now I don't say anything to you. I talk less. It doesn't mean that I don't love you and respect you. Sometimes you have to do the things going against your heart. Please forgive me for this. I love you but can't show you.

Now, going back to the past again, there are many memorable incidents happened between us. I can't pick anyone to share at this moment. But if given a chance I want to live my life again and re-live every moment. But certainly not the days when you were hospitalized 7 years back. That was the most tough period for you and the family.

I'm not good at writing letters but I could not find another way out to express my heart out. Words of mouth will not impress you, I know. So, please read it carefully and understand that I need my 'that' grandpa back.

With Love,
Your Grandson.

(P.S. - Today is my grandpa's 91st birthday. This letter is truly meant for him but I know he won't read it. Love you Dadu.)

Miss you friends...

Hi

It is quite a long time that I posted about my life's happenings and today I'm gonna talk about this.

Well... The month of March is about to end. There will be new year celebration (new financial year) in couple of days for most of the finance people out there. I hope this new year brings more happiness to all the people and their finances grow more strong. The month of March was quite hectic and I just managed to let it pass away. I'm sorry that I could not find much time to post on my blog this month. But there is always an excuse for every sorry said, and I have two actually. First, the most obvious and natural is the lack of time and second, the lack of topics for the posts. I'll try to update this space as frequently as I can.

While most of my friends are busy preparing for their CA Final exams which are going to start in the first week of May, others are busy in their offices like me. There were times when we used to meet almost daily and now when I recall those moments I feel very alone. Sometimes I smile alone when some funny incident strikes back to the walls of my mind. I think that's the best thing about friendship. You are never alone even when your friends are not with you at the moment. But, yes, the world is round and we will keep meeting again and again. Miss you all my friends.... And thanks for making the memories....

Singing off with a friendship quote taking birth in my mind- There is no end to the sea I see, and we will be friends till we can be.

Bye for now.

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad ...!!

Welcome

Today, the 23rd February, is the 26th wedding anniversary of my parents. Here is a short poem which is dedicated to them from me and my brother...

Years ago when you two met,
When God decided your fortune,
That you were made for each other,
Even you weren't sure of that,
Things happened and you became one,
Days passed in years,
Years passed in decades,
And today you still stand by each other,
Old relation yet new hopes,
Old times seem so close,
Loved and fought together,
Cried and laughed in unison,
A perfect couple you make,
A perfect gift God gave us,
Love you Mom & Dad.
