Unfortunately for me - I have kept some things too long - it would have been much better for me in the long run to have healed the pain earlier. The long term effects of held pain takes a toll! Interesting take on the prompt~~

I relate to your post but I never look at pain as a gift. :-) At least not at the time. Later it can be healing if it catalyzed you into doing something different.
